Entertainment News: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has officially entered the billionaire club for the first time, becoming the world’s richest actor with a net worth of $1.4 billion (around Rs 12,490 crore). The Hurun India Rich List 2025 has confirmed this major achievement for the Bollywood superstar after 33 years in the Bollywood film industry. The latest Hurun report showcases Shah Rukh’s global success. It stated, “Bollywood’s King, Shah Rukh Khan (59), joins the billionaire club for the first time with wealth of INR 12,490 crore.” His earnings have now gone beyond international stars like Taylor Swift ($1.3 billion), Arnold Schwarzenegger ($1.2 billion), Jerry Seinfeld ($1.2 billion), and Selena Gomez ($720 million).

Rising Above Global Icons

Shah Rukh has long been India’s highest-paid actor, but now the difference between him and others has grown even bigger. According to the Hurun list, Juhi Chawla and her family stand second with a net worth of Rs 7,790 crore, while Hrithik Roshan is in third place with Rs 2,160 crore. Last year, SRK topped the actor’s chart with $870 million, but now his jump to $1.4 billion highlights the success of his film and business projects. For almost thirty years, he has built wealth not only through movies but also with smart investments. His portfolio includes Red Chillies Entertainment, a VFX studio, cricket teams, and luxury real estate in the Middle East.

Upcoming Film 'King' Creates Buzz

On the work front, Shah Rukh is filming his most awaited movie King with Deepika Padukone and Suhana Khan. Recently, a picture from the set went viral showing him on a dock near a ship, holding a gun. Wearing a black suit with a rugged look, he appeared in a powerful action pose, making fans even more excited for the thriller. Earlier, another leaked image showed Shah Rukh with Suhana during outdoor shoots.
